Parc Tateishi, Mountain park in Suwa, Japan
Located on a mountainside 1.5 kilometers northeast of central Suwa City, the park offers views of Lake Suwa and surrounding cities.
The park, established in September 1956, underwent expansion works from 1962 to 1966 and received major renovations between 1999 and 2000.
The park earned recognition as a Shinshu Hometown Viewpoint, representing the authentic characteristics of the Nagano Prefecture landscape.
The parking area accommodates 25 vehicles, including two designated spots for visitors with disabilities, and requires a 15-minute drive from JR Kami-Suwa Station.
During clear weather conditions, visitors can observe the Northern Japanese Alps while experiencing both sunset and night views from the observation deck.
