Sakura no Sato

The park extends over 40,000 square meters at the base of Mount Omuro, containing 1,500 cherry trees from 40 different species that bloom in sequence.

The park earned its position among Japan's Top 100 Cherry Blossom Spots due to its extensive collection of native Japanese cherry tree varieties, including kawazuzakura and somei yoshino.

During the blossoming season, the park hosts numerous performances and collaborates with Toshima-ku in Tokyo to present traditional Japanese entertainment for visitors.

Visitors can reach the park by taking the Tokaido Shinkansen to Atami, transferring to Ito Line, then catching a Tokai bus to Izu Shaboten Park stop.

The park maintains an eight-month cherry blossom season from September through May, with different varieties blooming in fall, February, and April.
