Yokohama Gate Tower, Office complex in Minato Mirai 21, Japan.
Yokohama Gate Tower is an office building with 21 stories and one basement level located in the Nishi-ku district. The structure houses office spaces, event halls, restaurants, and retail shops.
The tower was completed in 2021 through a partnership between Kajima Corporation, Sumitomo Life Insurance Company, and Mitsui Sumitomo Insurance. This collaboration resulted in a modern complex within the Minato Mirai 21 district.
Inside the building sits the Konica Minolta Planetarium Yokohama, where visitors can watch shows about stars and space throughout the year. The planetarium draws people interested in learning about the universe.
The tower stands one minute from Shin-Takashima Station and about six minutes from Yokohama Station on foot. This central location makes it easy to reach whether you are visiting the planetarium or exploring the shops.
The building houses the Yokohama SDGs Design Center, which serves as a hub for sustainability initiatives and environmental work in the region. This emphasis on green development sets it apart from typical office complexes.
