Bishkek Central Mosque, Ottoman mosque in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan
The Central Mosque features four 70-meter-high minarets surrounding a main dome with a diameter of 25.5 meters and four smaller semi-domes.
The construction of the mosque began in 2012 and finished in 2017, with its inauguration in September 2018 attended by presidents of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey.
The Central Mosque serves as a primary religious center for Muslims in Bishkek, offering space for prayer, education, and community gatherings throughout the year.
Located on Zhybek Zholu Avenue, the mosque spans 7,500 square meters and accommodates up to 10,000 worshippers across its two floors.
Turkish craftsmen used granite imported directly from Turkey to construct this religious complex, which cost 25 million dollars to complete.
