Chumbi Surla Wildlife Sanctuary

The protected area spans 55,945 acres across Khushab and Chakwal Districts, featuring dry subtropical vegetation and varied elevation from 460 to 1050 meters.

The Government of Punjab established this sanctuary in 1978 to protect endangered species, particularly the native urial population in the region.
