The Belorus medical complex stands on the Black Sea coast at coordinates 44.428889 latitude and 34.076944 longitude in the Crimean peninsula.

Founded in 1916, the sanatorium gained recognition for its medical services and later became a property managed by the President of Belarus in 1999.

The eastern facade of the building displays architectural elements from the early 20th century, earning its place in the State Register of Immovable Monuments of Ukraine.

The facility provides medical treatments and rehabilitation services through its staff of nurses, teachers, and physiotherapists for children and adults with disabilities.

The sanatorium faced operational changes when European Union sanctions in 2020 led to frozen bank accounts and subsequent staff reductions of over 100 employees.
