Reflections at Bukit Chandu

The Reflections at Bukit Chandu museum occupies a restored colonial bungalow on Opium Hill, displaying exhibits about the Malay Regiment and World War II.

The museum stands at the location of the 1942 Battle of Pasir Panjang, where Lieutenant Adnan Saidi and his Malay Regiment fought against Japanese forces.

The center presents multimedia exhibitions, historical artifacts, and personal accounts that document the contributions of the Malay Regiment to Singapore's defense.

The museum opens Tuesday through Sunday from 9:30 AM to 5:00 PM, with visitors accessing it via bus routes 10, 175, 30, 51, 176, 188, or 143.

The museum features a floor battle map and maintains displays of opium processing equipment, reflecting the dual history of this strategic hilltop location.
