Kent Ridge Park is a 47-hectare green space in western Singapore with walking trails winding through secondary forest. The grounds contain native trees such as tembusu, acacia, and dillenia alongside fitness zones, sports facilities, and a multi-purpose stadium.
The grounds witnessed fierce combat during the Battle of Bukit Chandu in February 1942 when soldiers of the Malay Regiment fought Japanese forces. The National Heritage Board designated the site as one of eleven World War II heritage locations in 1995.
