Hougang Single Member Constituency

Hougang Single Member Constituency is an electoral district in Singapore's North East Region, located within the North East Community Development Council. This area forms a distinct parliamentary unit that represents its residents in the national system.

The area was originally rural and transformed into an urbanized district following its establishment in 1988. The Workers' Party has governed the constituency since 1991 and helped shape its modern development.
