The building features a rectangular design with a central courtyard space, incorporating multiple stories connected by symmetrically positioned staircases throughout the structure.
Architect Mimar Kemaleddin Bey completed this structure in 1930, marking a transition period between Ottoman architectural elements and modern construction approaches in Turkey.
The building houses the Küçük Theater with 467 seats, and the Refik Ahmet Sevengil Theater Library, which contains an extensive collection of play scripts.
Located on Istiklal Street in Ulus district, the structure serves as headquarters for the State Theaters General Directorate and contains both retail spaces and residential units.
