The Küçük Theatre occupies a section of the II. Evkaf Apartmanı building, featuring a main hall and a curved U-shaped balcony with 467 seats.
The theatre, designed by architect Mimar Kemaleddin Bey, opened its doors on December 27, 1947, as part of the expanding cultural infrastructure in Ankara.
The first performance at this stage was the play 'Köşebaşı' by Tecer, which set records for the most repeated shows in a single season.
Located at İstiklal Caddesi Çirman Sokak Vakıf Apartmanı No: 8 in Altındağ district, the theatre operates regular performances through the Ankara State Theatre.
The interior features an elliptical dome with golden embroidery and muqarnas, combining traditional architectural elements with modern theatre design.
