Steeple

Steeple is a cone-shaped mountain peak in the Lake District that stands between Ennerdale and Wasdale at approximately 800 meters elevation. The fell forms part of the Western Fells range and is accessible via several marked trails that traverse varied terrain.

The fell gained protected status in 1951 when it became part of the Lake District National Park, marking a key moment for environmental conservation in northern England. This designation ensured the preservation of the landscape for future generations of walkers and nature enthusiasts.
