Jack Rabbit

Jack Rabbit is a wooden roller coaster at Kennywood amusement park that spans over 2,000 feet of track and reaches speeds around 45 mph. The ride travels through a rolling landscape with steeply banked turns and makes use of the valley's natural terrain throughout the course.

The ride opened in 1920 when engineers John Miller and Harry Baker introduced a groundbreaking wheel system underneath the track. This technical advancement made rides safer and smoother, and the design became influential for coaster builders everywhere.
