Boeing Galleries

The Boeing Galleries is an art gallery and sculpture garden in Millennium Park featuring exhibition spaces both indoors and outdoors. The spaces extend across mid-level terraces with black granite seating surrounded by sycamore trees and open views of the park.

The project began in 2005 through a major donation and transformed a former rail yard into a cultural exhibition area. This conversion marked a turning point in establishing the park as a destination for contemporary art.

The spaces display contemporary art installations and large sculptures by international artists that blend into the park's urban setting. Visitors experience works in direct conversation with the natural surroundings and the city's architecture.

You can enter from both the north and south sides, with easy connections to downtown Chicago. The layout on terraces makes it simple to explore and offers several entry points for visitors.

The sculptures rotate regularly, meaning repeat visits reveal different works on display. This constant refreshing keeps the collection dynamic and encourages multiple discoveries.
