Robins Center

Robins Center is a multi-purpose sports facility at the University of Richmond housing basketball courts, a natatorium for swimming and diving, and comprehensive training facilities. The building accommodates roughly 7,200 spectators and features modern athletic training centers designed to support competitive sports programs.

The facility opened in 1972, bringing basketball back to campus after the team had played at off-site locations for decades. Major renovations in 2013 updated the building with contemporary training systems and improved spectator accommodations.

The basketball court is named Dick Tarrant Court in honor of the most successful coach in Richmond Spiders history. This recognition acknowledges his remarkable achievements in building and developing the university's basketball program.
