Stovall Mill Covered Bridge, Covered bridge in Sautee Nacoochee, Georgia.
The Stovall Mill Covered Bridge extends 33 feet across Chickamauga Creek with wooden construction and a tin roof protecting its structure.
Built in 1895 by Will Pardue, this bridge replaced an earlier structure that was part of Fred Dover's mill complex until 1917.
The bridge gained recognition when it served as a filming location for the 1951 movie I'd Climb The Highest Mountain with Susan Hayward.
Visitors can access the bridge site throughout the year and use the four picnic tables near the parking areas on both sides.
The structure stands as Georgia's smallest covered bridge, featuring a King-post design that spans a single lane across the water.
