Swetland House

Swetland House is a residential building featuring Renaissance Revival and Italianate architecture in London, Ohio. The structure displays brick walls with multiple bay windows, a hip roof, and decorative stone details spanning two-and-a-half stories.

Jeriah Swetland established this residence in 1871 by purchasing undeveloped land southeast of downtown. The property eventually became part of the area's residential expansion during the late 1800s.

The house served as a community arts center in the late 1900s, hosting local artistic events and neighborhood gatherings that brought residents together.

The residence is located near downtown London on East High Street and sits within an established residential neighborhood that is easy to navigate on foot. The surrounding area contains other historic homes from the same period.
