Tri-City Speedway

Tri-City Speedway, auto race track

Tri-City Speedway is a dirt track racing facility in Pennsylvania with an oval layout designed to host various racing divisions including 410 Sprint Cars, 358 Modifieds, Pro Stocks, and Mini Stocks. The track features bright lighting for evening races and seating areas positioned close to the racing surface for spectators to watch the action.

The track has operated for many years as a local racing venue where numerous drivers launched their careers and became prominent in the regional motorsports community. Recently, new ownership took over with plans to restore major sanctioned racing events and expand the schedule with additional programs and competitions.

The speedway serves as a gathering place where the local racing community shares its passion and supports homegrown drivers competing on the track. The sound of engines and racing fuel create a shared experience that brings neighbors and families together on race weekends.

Races typically happen on Sunday evenings throughout the season from April to Labor Day weekend, providing regular opportunities to attend throughout the summer months. The facility includes safety barriers around the track and trained staff on site to ensure visitor security during events.

The dirt surface distinguishes this track from typical asphalt racing venues and demands specialized driving techniques that add technical challenge for competitors. This racing surface creates a distinct visual experience that sets the events here apart from standard speedways.
