Nescopeck State Park

Nescopeck State Park is a nature reserve in Luzerne County, Pennsylvania, featuring wetlands, forests, and streams across its grounds. The landscape supports habitats for amphibians, birds, and native plants that thrive throughout different zones of the area.

The park was established in 2005 by the Pennsylvania Bureau of State Parks to provide additional recreational space in northeastern Pennsylvania. This creation marked an important step in protecting natural habitats in the region.
