The Cable Building, Beaux Arts building in NoHo, Manhattan, United States.

The Cable Building rises nine stories at 611 Broadway, featuring a limestone base with a two-story arcade and light orange brick with terra cotta details.

Constructed between 1892 and 1894, this structure operated as the power station for Metropolitan Traction Company's cable car system along Broadway from Bowling Green to 36th Street.

The building's entrance displays two 11-foot sculptured figures created by J. Massey Rhind, representing the architectural grandeur of late 19th-century New York.

The Angelika Film Center occupies four basement levels of the building, while the upper floors contain offices and creative studios accessible from Broadway.

The structure contains a four-story-deep basement that once housed massive steam engines and winding wheels powering 40-ton cables at speeds of 30 mph.
