Paul Revere Mall, Urban park in North End, Boston, US
Paul Revere Mall is a paved park with mature trees, benches, and green spaces situated between Old North Church and St. Stephen's Church. The space connects these two significant buildings and anchors the heart of North End with its European-style design.
The land was owned by Christopher Stanley in 1646, who later donated property to support public education in Boston. The park itself took its current form in 1933 as a European-inspired green space.
The southern wall displays historical plaques that honor North End residents and their contributions to Boston over centuries. These markers tell stories of people who shaped the neighborhood's character.
The space is open around the clock and connects to the Freedom Trail, making it easy to reach historical sites throughout North End. The flat terrain makes exploring straightforward, and there are plenty of spots to sit and rest.
A large equestrian statue of Paul Revere stands at the entrance, marking the start of this European-style space. The statue serves as a recognizable landmark and popular gathering point for visitors.
