Yunnan Nationalities Museum, Ethnology museum in Xishan District, China.
The Yunnan Nationalities Museum displays more than 120,000 artifacts across 130,000 square meters of exhibition space on the east bank of Dian Lake.
The museum opened in November 1995 to document and preserve the traditions of over 25 ethnic groups residing in the Yunnan province.
Each exhibition hall contains collections of traditional clothing, musical instruments, and daily objects representing different ethnic minorities of the region.
The museum provides guided tours, educational programs, and interactive displays that allow visitors to engage with traditional crafts of various ethnic communities.
The outdoor exhibition area features reconstructed traditional villages that demonstrate the authentic living environments of different ethnic groups.
