Yunnan Nationalities Museum

The Yunnan Nationalities Museum is located on the east bank of Dian Lake and presents extensive collections of traditional objects from different ethnic cultures. The facility includes multiple buildings and areas where crafts, textiles, and historical items are displayed.

The museum was founded in 1995 to document the traditions and heritage of more than 25 ethnic groups in the province. This initiative arose from the goal of preserving the cultural diversity of Yunnan for future generations.
