Kohima Capital Cultural Center

The Kohima Capital Cultural Center is a building in Kohima that provides multiple exhibition halls, a conference room seating 150 people, and a restaurant with separate kitchen facilities. The building features basement parking accommodating 40 vehicles and serves as a venue for cultural presentations and exhibitions.

Construction of the cultural center started in 2005 but was halted for over a decade due to land ownership disputes before completion in 2019. The building opened on December 1, 2021, marking a significant moment for the region's cultural infrastructure.

The center displays works by local artisans who practice traditional Naga crafting techniques, including intricately made textiles, musical instruments, and contemporary artistic expressions.
