The school was founded in 1979 as a branch of Gyosei High School in Kudan, Tokyo, with the junior high division added in 1981. This expansion allowed a complete educational program to be offered at the new location near the bay.
The school offers three language tracks: Japanese, English, and French, with each providing a distinct learning path. Students can choose between these programs based on their abilities and preferences.
Most junior and high school students live in school dormitories located about 8 kilometers from Kisarazu Station. Plan to use public transportation or a car to reach the grounds, as the campus is best accessed from outside the immediate station area.
The experimental Yohane program allows students to select their own courses and learn at their own pace, with teachers serving as learning advisors rather than traditional instructors. This approach offers unusual freedom compared to typical Japanese school structures.
