The JN Family building stood as a ten-story structure containing hot springs, hotel rooms, fitness facilities, restaurants, and entertainment spaces near Sagamihara Station.

Opening its doors in 1983 as Sauna Japan New Family, the establishment expanded in 1989 with the addition of a hotel tower featuring outdoor baths.

The facility represented Japanese bathing traditions by incorporating artificial hot springs that replicated famous thermal waters from different regions across the country.

The complex maintained 52 guest rooms across five floors, offered parking for 200 vehicles, and operated 24 hours per day until its closure in February 2021.

During the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake, the hotel reached maximum capacity as it provided shelter to numerous individuals unable to return home.
