Kudankaikan Terrace, Skyscraper in Kudanminami, Japan.
Kudankaikan Terrace is a 17-floor skyscraper in Kudanminami housing conference halls, banquet rooms, and multiple commercial spaces distributed across its levels. The structure combines event facilities with retail and office areas serving both corporate and public needs.
The building opened in July 2022, incorporating design elements from the previous Kudankaikan structure while introducing modern architectural innovations by architect Azusa Sekkei. The project represented a reimagining of the site to meet contemporary event space demands.
The building houses two grand banquet halls named Shinju and Houou, drawing from Japanese naming traditions that represent pearl and phoenix respectively. These names connect to local customs and create cultural meaning during formal gatherings.
The building connects directly to Kudanshita Station through exits 4 and 5, serving three subway lines including Hanzomon, Tozai, and Toei Shinjuku. This direct access makes the location easy to reach by public transportation.
The basement features an automated parking system capable of storing 98 vehicles, providing efficient urban parking solutions. Lower levels also contain specialized spaces designed for religious practices, serving visitors of different faiths.
