ふくやま芸術文化ホール, Concert hall in Fukuyama, Japan.
The Fukuyama Hall of Art and Culture features two performance spaces: a main hall with 2,003 seats and a smaller venue accommodating 312 spectators.
The cultural venue, which opened its doors on November 2, 1994, was constructed on a former inlet area that connected the Port Town to Irifune-cho district.
The facility hosts over twenty annual programs, including orchestra festivals that bring together amateur musicians from neighboring municipalities to perform classical concerts.
The venue provides underground rehearsal spaces matching the exact stage dimensions of both halls, enabling performers to practice in authentic spatial conditions.
The building earned its nickname 'Rose of Leiden' from a combination of Fukuyama's official flower, the rose, and the historical name of Fukuyama Castle, Ashiyo.
