The Osaki Shrine contains a main hall, offering hall, and worship hall featuring intricate wooden carvings and traditional architectural elements.
Founded between 767 and 770 CE, the shrine gained prominence when military commander Taira no Masakado sought blessings for victory in battle.
The annual festival takes place on November 9th and 10th, incorporating venison offerings and traditional carp-related ceremonies.
Located 15 minutes by foot from Kita-Mooka Station, the shrine maintains visiting hours from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM with parking for 300 vehicles.
The shrine houses Japan's largest Ebisu deity statue and serves as the first shrine dedicated to motorcycle safety in the country.
