Slovenska Beach

Slovenska Beach is an extended coastal stretch along the Adriatic with fine sand mixed with pebbles, running through the heart of Budva. Mediterranean plants and vegetation frame the shoreline, giving the area a distinctly southern character.

The beach received its name in the 1960s when visitors from the north began arriving in larger numbers to this coastal section. This wave of tourism marked the beginning of Budva's development as a modern destination.

The beach forms a natural boundary between Budva's medieval old town and the city's modern districts, with both areas clearly visible from the shore. This contrast shows how the city has evolved over decades from its historic core to an expanding coastal settlement.
