Mogren

Mogren is a beach near Stari Grad and features two separate sandy coves connected by a wooden bridge and a passage carved through the rocky headland. The two sections together create a continuous shoreline along the Adriatic.

The name comes from a Spanish sailor called Morgini who found shelter here after his ship wrecked in earlier times. This old story became part of the place's local identity.

The beach holds regular summer events where visitors participate in water sports competitions and local food tastings near the restaurant.

The beach has sun loungers available for rent along with showers and changing facilities. A restaurant serving both international cuisine and local dishes sits right at the shoreline.

One of the rocky outcrops has a jumping spot where swimmers can dive into the water from about 15 meters high. Locals call this place Shark's Rock and it draws visitors looking for a bit of adventure.
