Kościół św. Jana Chrzciciela w Budvie

The Saint John the Baptist Church features a three-nave structure with a neo-Gothic bell tower added to the building in 1867.

The church construction began in the 8th century and concluded in the 9th century, serving as a cathedral for the former Diocese of Budva.

The interior contains Venetian school paintings from the 15th to 17th centuries, including the renowned Madonna in Punta with its silver frame.

Located at Trg Starogradskih Crkava, the church stands near other religious buildings and remains open for religious services and visitors.

The eastern section of the church includes a former episcopal court that functioned as the residence for Primorje bishops from 886 to 1828.
