Marina Towers, Residential complex in Beirut Central District, Lebanon.
Marina Towers is a residential complex in central Beirut featuring a 27-story main tower along with two companion buildings called Marina Court and Marina Garden. The structures reach approximately 150 meters in height and house a total of 47 residential units with varying floor plans.
The project emerged during the rebuilding phase of Beirut Central Business District following a period of urban destruction. It represented a turning point in the city's modernization and signaled economic ambitions for the Lebanese capital.
The name Marina Towers reflects its closeness to the harbor and relationship with water. The curved shape responds to the coastline and creates a visual connection between the urban center and the sea that residents and visitors encounter daily.
The complex sits near the harbor and is accessible from the city center. Keep in mind this is a private residential area, but the exterior and architectural form are visible from street level.
The concave shape of the main tower precisely follows the harbor's curve and was designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. A notable feature is the double-height living rooms created through a skip-stop arrangement, offering panoramic sea views from upper floors.
