Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral, Estelí

Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary Cathedral is a neoclassical church in Estelí featuring a white stone facade with prominent columns framing the entrance and matching towers on either side. A central dome rises above the interior, creating a focal point above the main altar.

Pope John XXIII consecrated this structure as the seat of the Diocese of Estelí on December 17, 1962, granting it regional ecclesiastical importance. This consecration represented a pivotal moment in the town's spiritual development.
