M.S.Ö. Air & Space Museum

The M.S.Ö. Air & Space Museum showcases a collection of aircraft that remain flight-capable, including a 1940 Douglas DC-3 and a 1944 North American P-51D Mustang. The facility has hangars, maintenance areas, and a library with aviation literature.

The museum was founded to preserve and display aircraft from the middle of the 20th century. In 2018, it integrated with Sivrihisar General Aviation Center, which enabled the aircraft to be maintained and restored to flying condition.

The collection reflects a deep respect for aviation engineering and the pioneers who flew these aircraft in decades past. Visitors can sense how these machines represent human achievement and adventure in the skies.

A visit works best on clear days when the aircraft are most likely to be operational or most visible. Comfortable walking shoes are helpful since viewing involves exploring different hangar areas and walking around the aircraft.

Unlike most museums, this facility features aircraft that are actually airworthy and not merely static displays. Visitors occasionally have the rare chance to see and hear the historical machines take off.
