Metropol Tower Istanbul, Mixed-use skyscraper complex in Ataşehir district, Turkey
Metropol Tower Istanbul is a mixed-use skyscraper complex in the Ataşehir district with three connected towers. The tallest rises to 301 meters and contains residential units, office spaces, and a large shopping mall spread across multiple levels.
The project was initiated through a design competition in 2010, with construction beginning in 2013. Completion came in 2017, establishing the complex as a defining landmark in eastern Istanbul.
The building design takes elements from the Theodosian Wall structure and incorporates them into modern architectural features that define the Istanbul skyline.
The complex connects directly to Kozyatağı metro station, making access straightforward. The shopping center and public areas are accessible year-round with clear signage throughout the grounds.
The development features a Market Street that functions as both a light well and urban plaza, connecting to lower retail levels through multiple access points.
