Museo Castillo Serrallés, Museum in Ponce, Puerto Rico
The Spanish Colonial Revival mansion houses extensive exhibits about sugar industry development and rum production across multiple dedicated exhibition spaces.
Built in 1930 for the Serrallés family, makers of DonQ rum, the mansion transformed into a public museum on February 20, 1991.
The museum preserves Puerto Rican industrial heritage through displays of sugar production equipment, historical documents, and traditional rum-making processes.
Guided tours operate Thursday through Monday in English at 1:00 PM and Spanish at 10:30 AM and 3:30 PM, with groups limited to 15 people.
The property includes a butterfly nursery, Japanese gardens with koi ponds, and the Vigía Cross, offering panoramic views of Ponce.
