Hóa An Bridge

Hóa An Bridge spans roughly 450 meters across the Đồng Nai River with four vehicle lanes and wide sidewalks on both sides. The structure connects Biên Hòa to surrounding provinces and serves as a major traffic point on National Highway 1A.

Construction began in 1964 and marked a turning point in the southern region's transportation development. The connection helped link isolated areas to the city and became essential for regional infrastructure growth.

Markets and old buildings near the crossing reflect everyday life in the city, where people move through the area and interact on its paths. These spaces show how local commerce and community continue around the river crossing.

The bridge gets very crowded during rush hours, so crossing outside peak times is easier. Pedestrians have wide and safe paths available on both sides.

Two new bridges are being built alongside the current structure, showing how fast the region is growing and changing. These new structures will handle the region's growing traffic in coming years.
