Nguyen Van Troi Bridge, Steel footbridge over Han River in Da Nang, Vietnam.
The Nguyen Van Troi Bridge extends 513 meters across the Han River with a yellow-painted steel structure featuring 14 spans of steel piles.
Constructed in 1965 by RMK contractors, this bridge initially supported military transportation during the Vietnam War under the name Nguyen Hoang Bridge.
After Vietnam's reunification, authorities renamed the bridge to honor Nguyen Van Troi, a notable figure from Quang Nam province.
The bridge connects Da Nang's urban center to the eastern beach area, providing essential access for vehicles crossing the Han River.
The structure incorporates a deck elevation system that allows boats to pass underneath, demonstrating advanced engineering for its construction period.
