Big Foot Museum

The Big Foot Museum is a collection of statues showing Portuguese soldiers, fishermen, and villagers arranged in an outdoor setting. The site also features traditional houses, spice gardens, and planted areas that depict how people lived in earlier times.

The site is connected to a local story about a man named Mahadar who allegedly left a footprint on a rock after seeking shelter during a difficult time in his life. This legend shaped the place's identity and eventually led to the creation of the museum as it exists today.

The grounds house one of the country's longest laterite sculptures, depicting the figure of Sant Mirabai in a Greco-Roman architectural style. This monumental figure blends Indian religious devotion with classical European design elements.
