Raj Bhavan

Raj Bhavan is a neoclassical residence in Kolkata that spreads across a large plot of land and features a central structure with radiating wings. The complex contains multiple rooms, including ceremonial spaces designed to host official receptions and administrative functions.

The building was constructed in 1803 as Government House during British rule and initially served administrative functions. It was later converted into the official residence for Bengal's governors.
