Cabarete Beach

Cabarete Beach is a sand beach on the northern coast with pale tan sand and a wide, shallow shoreline that extends for several kilometers. Strong, consistent Atlantic winds shape the water conditions and make it a hub for water sports activity.

The beach area began as a European settlement in the early 1800s and evolved into a fishing village over time. Through the decades, the location gradually transformed into the modern water sports hub it is today.
