Museum Basoeki Abdullah

Museum Basoeki Abdullah exhibits over 100 original artworks, including oil paintings, sketches, and personal collections of the renowned Indonesian painter.

Following Basoeki Abdullah's death in 1993, his house and art collection were transferred to the Directorate General of Culture in 1998 for museum development.

The museum preserves Indonesian artistic heritage through exhibitions of Basoeki Abdullah's works, which capture traditional Indonesian themes and cultural elements.

The Ministry of Education and Culture manages this institution, offering workshops, educational programs, and research facilities with an extensive library.

The museum building incorporates traditional Indonesian architectural elements while housing statues, masks, puppets, and weapons from Basoeki Abdullah's personal collection.
