Les Mazots

Les Mazots is a restaurant with contemporary interior design housed within a traditional alpine structure in Villars-sur-Ollon. Large windows open onto views of the Rhone Valley landscape and, on clear days, Mont Blanc in the distance.

The building underwent a major renovation in 2014 and received further updates in autumn 2023. These improvements helped establish a new culinary direction at the location.

The name refers to traditional stone chalets that were characteristic of this alpine region. Visitors can see how this local building style continues to influence the appearance and character of the place today.

The restaurant operates on a daily basis during typical visiting hours and welcomes groups. The kitchen encourages ordering dishes meant for sharing, creating a communal dining experience for guests.

The kitchen creates specialized gnocchi served with mushrooms and regional cheese varieties. These dishes blend traditional Swiss ingredients with international cooking techniques in surprising ways.
