Zayed National Museum

The Zayed National Museum features five solar thermal towers shaped like falcon wings rising above the central exhibition galleries and surrounding landscape.

The museum commemorates Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who united the seven emirates to establish the UAE federation in 1971.

The exhibition spaces present artifacts and displays about Emirati heritage, Islamic traditions, and regional archaeological discoveries from the Arabian Gulf.

The museum spans 66,000 square meters with a main lobby, two ground floor galleries, and four upper-level exhibition spaces arranged around a central hill.

The building integrates natural cooling systems through its wing-shaped towers, drawing air downward to maintain comfortable temperatures throughout the structure.
