La Barra Golf Club

La Barra Golf Club is an 18-hole golf course in Manantiales featuring varied hole designs with multiple tee positions to suit different skill levels. The layout incorporates water features throughout the course and manicured fairways.

The club opened in 1994 following approval two years earlier, beginning with 15 holes. It was quickly expanded to the full 18-hole layout shortly after opening.

The club serves as a social hub where golfers in the Punta del Este region gather to play together and share their passion for the sport. It brings together players of all levels in a common space.

The course operates Tuesday through Sunday from early morning to evening and offers equipment rental including golf carts and hand carts. Visitors should book in advance and dress for changing weather conditions.

The course sits within Cañada de los Flamingos and offers three distinct tee positions that allow golfers of varying abilities to play together on the same holes. This setup makes it possible for beginners and experienced players to enjoy rounds at their own level.
