The facility was established to bridge the gap between urban living and traditional farming practices while educating visitors about animal care and agriculture.
Malaysian agricultural traditions are integrated into the farm's layout, featuring local farming methods and regional animal species common to Southeast Asia.
The zoo operates from Monday and Wednesday through Friday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with extended hours on weekends starting at 9:30 AM.
Visitors can participate in longkang fishing, a traditional Malaysian activity where children catch small fish in concrete water channels.
