The garden spans 230 acres with 13 thematic areas, including Fern Garden, Sun Garden, Palm Hill, and an extensive collection of tropical plants.
The garden opened in 2003 under Prime Minister Tun Dr. Mahathir Mohamad as part of the development plan for Malaysia's administrative capital.
The Moroccan Pavilion within the garden displays Islamic architectural elements and traditional North African garden design principles.
Visitors can access the garden daily from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM, with bicycle rentals and paddle boats available.
The garden received recognition as one of Asia's Most Amazing Gardens at the 2008 Royal Chelsea Flower Show in London.
