Palace of Justice

The Palace of Justice is a judicial complex in Putrajaya comprising a five-story main structure topped by a prominent dome and a two-story annexe, both featuring granite and decorative mosaic tile surfaces. The two sections are connected through a central Rotunda and sit within Precinct 3 of Malaysia's administrative center.

The complex was completed in 2003, marking the relocation of Malaysia's highest courts from Kuala Lumpur to the newly established administrative capital of Putrajaya. This move represented a significant shift in the nation's institutional geography following decades of planning and development.

The building blends Islamic, Moorish, and Western Classical design elements visible in its columns, curved archways, and central dome. This architectural language creates a space where multiple cultural traditions come together in a harmonious composition.

The complex has clearly marked entrances and signage to help navigate between different areas and sections. Following the central Rotunda is an effective way to orient yourself within the sprawling structure.
