Seri Gemilang Bridge

Seri Gemilang Bridge spans 240 meters across Putrajaya Lake with six traffic lanes and a pedestrian walkway positioned 36.75 meters above the water. This structure connects Heritage Square to Putrajaya Convention Centre and serves as the main southern gateway to Core Island.

The bridge was completed in 2003 under the design of PJSI and Perbadanan Putrajaya supervision as a key milestone in the development of the administrative capital. Its opening formed an important step in establishing infrastructure for the newly planned city.

The bridge displays Roman architectural features with precast stone balustrades and decorative towers that reflect how Malaysia approaches modern urban design.

The bridge is easily accessible for both vehicle and foot traffic with clear signage connecting both shores. Visitors should note that the structure gets busy during peak hours and is best viewed or photographed during evening hours.

The structure features specialized lighting systems that create reflections on the water surface, making it a favorite spot for photographers. This illumination transforms the bridge into a particularly memorable sight after sunset.
