Literary figures including Leopoldo Lugones, Alfonsina Storni, and Carlos Gardel frequented the Munich Brewery during its early years as a social center.

The Munich Brewery Building now houses the General Direction of Museums and provides spaces for various cultural events in Buenos Aires.

The building includes custom-designed elements by Kálnay himself, from stained glass windows and railings to furniture and brewery-related sculptural components.
